We checked out a new spot, this time a KOA near Franconia. It was the most non-KOA I think we’ve ever seen! I’m guessing it was a traditional mom & pop small campground that got bought by KOA or something. The best part was being able to back the trailer right up to the river. There was an embankment there so it wasn’t right on the water, but close enough!
We brought the bikes with us and made a large circuit of the area, including the obligatory ride up the Kank (Kancamagus highway).
