Fishermen’s Memorial State Park and Campground is located at Point Judith in Narragansett, Rhode Island. It’s not terribly far away and is one of the first campgrounds open each year.
It can be a bit chilly and often a little muddy after the snow melt but its a great start to the season.
This year we met friends there and really enjoyed camping with them.
One of the great things about camping with friends was being able to do things with them.
We visited the Newport Car Museum on Saturday, and then did lunch at The Coast Guard House Restaurant afterward — fun day!!
