Plaistow State Forest, NH

Doing a little house hunting in southeastern New Hampshire and decided to find a place to do some hiking.

As I remember it, this was a well laid out trail system.  There were a number of branches we could take and it followed some interesting changes in elevation and directions through the woods, rather than being simple loops or entirely flat.

It seemed to be peak “frog season” – in more than one place we ran into such a racket that I doubt we could have heard each other at a normal conversational volume.

This was the map posted at the trailhead as of  March, 2021.
